Did you manage to get your tickets to “Avengers: Endgame?” Well you were one of the lucky ones, because this behemoth of a movie broke the internet as millions of fans tried to score their tickets, only to find an error message because of a system overload from these ticketing companies.

“Avengers: Endgame” pre-sale tickets went up for grabs at 5 a.m. PT/ 8 a.m. ET on various ticketing retailers such as Fandango, AMC Theatres, Atom Tickets and Regal Cinemas, all of which were definitely not ready for the influx of traffic they were about to receive. As servers went down for these sites and mobile apps, anger rose from fans all over.

Frustrated Twitter users took to the platform to complain to the big movie companies such as Fandango and AMC Theatres that their sites and mobile apps were crashing from choosing their seats, all the way up to securing a ticket. Aside from the anger and displeasure of these customers, Twitter users also made jokes that the IT Support of these companies had disappeared after Thanos’s iconic snap.

Despite the experiences from these displeased customers, Disney/Marvel Studios is making a killing in the box office, and the movie isn’t even out yet! With presale tickets alone, “Endgame” is already breaking opening box office records, looking to surpass “Avengers: Infinity War” which holds the U.S. record of $257 million. Not only that, but “Avengers: Endgame” broke the Fandango record taking the number one spot of presellers right after “Star Wars: The Force Awakens (2015).”

Fandango’s Managing Editor Erik Davis went to Twitter with, “I hesitate to call ‘Avengers: Endgame’ the most anticipated movie of all time, but in all honesty the numbers this one is putting up are extraordinary.”

Although “Endgame” can suffer sales due to its three-hour runtime, which limits the amount of screenings in a given theater, it will be no surprise that theaters will be playing this movie non-stop. “Avengers: Endgame” has broken the internet, along with all the online ticket sales.

Are you ready to see what is left of the Avengers in action again? With that epic cliffhanger and so many unanswered questions, I think everybody is. The latest Marvel Cinematic Universe release is set to premiere April 26, 2019 in theaters nationwide.
