FRIENDS: The one with the time I tell you to watch Friends. FRIENDS is one of the most popular sitcoms in the United States. FRIENDS is a show about a group of friends living in New York. These friends deal with everything together, from divorce or divorces in Ross’s case, crazy romances, to career bumps there's nothing that Rachel, Monica, Phoebe, Chandler, Joey, and Ross can’t handle. FRIENDS has countless moments that will make you laugh from the situations these friends find themselves in. What makes also makes is that it’s real, these individuals live their regular lives, and in that, we can find how there is always something going on, there is never a dull day in their lives and ours either.

Parks and Recreation: Treat yourself to a feel-good comedy about the local government. The show follows Leslie Knope, played by Amy Pohler, an overly enthusiastic government employee, and her co-workers of the Parks Department in the small town of Pawnee, Indiana. Leslie Knope is a hard-working government employee that always is working to make her fun and better pace, something that we can’t relate to in real life. This show is full of comedy but also has life lessons that one can learn from. Such as, how it is important for people to take risks and challenge themselves, as well as how women are powerful smart individuals that have a lot to offer in government. Not to mention, the diversity of characters one can relate to. Are you a Tom someone who is flashy and likes attention, or are you like Ron Swanson, the person who wants to be secluded say little and do little, or you can even be an April Ludgate, an apathetic college student who is figuring herself out. One thing is for sure this comedy is full of love and friendship where anything is possible as long as you have your friends there to back you up.

The Office: “That's what she said!” Imagine having a boss that is inappropriate and over exaggerates every situation. Welcome to the paper selling business, who knew that selling paper for Dunder Mifflin would be more than what one signed up for especially with a boss like Michael Scott. Micheal Scott is a manager of Dunder Mifflin a paper supplier company, a carefree individual who consistently gets himself caught in hilarious situations. He along with the other employees must work and live their lives all by being followed by a camera crew for a reality show. Dunder Mifflin is quite the work environment, from workplace parties and drama to even work fires, there is nothing the employees don’t see. With such a diverse faculty it’s hard not to invest ourselves in one or more character, from the kiss-ass assistant to the shy and amiable receptionist who may or may not have a crush on one of her coworkers. This mockumentary sitcom is hilarious and has you wondering if situations like this will happen in real life workplace, as well as have you wondering if you are one of the characters in real life.

These sitcoms are available on Netflix, and there are more than three seasons for each show. Some classes even have you watch and learn something from one of these shows. So go ahead and take a break when you find yourself overwhelmed with school work, you deserve a break and a laugh.
