Carbonara Recipe

Sometimes you have those days where you’ve been eating out way too much, or all you’ve been eating are instant noodles and you just want to make an easy homemade meal. This 6-ingredient carbonara recipe will fulfill all those needs!

What you’ll need: 

  • 1 cup Pancetta

  • 1 tsp Salt

  • 1 lb Pasta

    • 1 cup Reserved Pasta Water

  • 6 Egg Yolks, 1 Whole Egg

  • 1 ⅓ cup Parmesan

  • ¾ cup Pecorino

  • 1 tbsp Black Pepper 

Instructions 

  1. Heat up a skillet and add your pancetta until crisp.

  2. Boil water, salt it, then cook your pasta according to the package instructions. 

  3. Reserve pasta water. 

  4. Mix your eggs, pancetta, parmesan, pecorino, and black pepper. 

  5. Add pasta water. 

  6. Mix in cooked pasta and serve!
