“Stranger Things” returns to Netflix for their second season on October 27th. October 27th is the same date that the first season was released, so it’s been a long time coming for some people who finished the show in one day.
Stranger Things is a Netflix Original Series, a horror science fiction show that takes place in a fictional town of Hawkins, Indiana during the 1980s.
Right next to Hawkins is a laboratory, Hawkins National Lavatory, where as far as the public knows they are performing scientific research for the United States Department of Energy. But behind closed doors, the scientists have been secretly experimenting on the paranormal and supernatural, which often times involves a human test subject. One of those test subjects, Eleven, happens to escape, but she’s not the only test subject that has managed to escape and make their way to Hawkins.
The season finale of the critically acclaimed show ended with a few cliffhangers. Fans have been asking themselves what happened to Eleven? Is she alive or not and if she is where did she go? And what is going on with Will, after so much time in the upside down did it have side affects on him?
One thing I do know for sure is that Barb deserved better and I hope somehow she is alive somehow.
CSULB student, Kaylee Loane, predicts that in this new season of Stranger Things we will be introduced to others who are like Eleven. Others who might possess telekinesis abilities or other strange abilities as a result to being government test subjects.
My prediction for Season 2 is that the kid, Will, who stuck in the Upside down, is going to suffer delusions or mental breakdown because he was in a strange place. I also predict that Eleven is still around, but she is hiding to make sure that no one causes her friends harm.
Stranger Things season 1 was definitely a good season, now let's watch and see if season 2 is just as good or even better!
