Make up is considered to be one of the most important fashion accessories for many women, and here at DIG Magazine we think no differently. So we want to keep you on trend with the latest makeup looks that gracing the runways. We’re going to be sharing our tricks and tips to bring  the drama from the catwalk to everyday chic.

The base of any make up look starts with the face and a consent variable in all fall  looks are matte and satin finished skin. The summertime glow is out the door and a contoured and matte face is taking the stage at almost every runway show. Now you're probably thinking how to get a simpler runway look for an everyday face. Although not everyone is willing to wake up a bit earlier to put on a full face of  makeup, there are simpler ways to achieve that flawless matte skin.

Instead of applying foundation go with a BB Cream. It has full coverage, yet feels very light on the face and save you time in the morning. A few popular and economic BB Creams  are Garnier BB Cream or Smashbox Camera Ready BB Cream (if you don't mind paying a bit more). Those of us who  have oily skin can set the BB Cream with powder for that matte finish. Contouring is a must for the fall because of the amazing definition if gives your face. Try  contouring with a bronzer like Hoola bronzer by Benefit (at Sephora) to really bring your cheekbones out . A great alternative or finish to contouring  is adding a bit of blush to the cheeks like Sin by Nars. There you have it, a fall fresh face that will help bring the focus to the 3 key trends.

Bold Brows:

Cara Delevingne is the infamous queen of the brow and supermodel of the moment. So its no surprise that designer Jason Wu had her walk in his Fall/Winter 2013 fashion show. However, it seemed many designers were incorporating the “Cara” look into their runway makeup with bold dramatic brows. Trying to pull off the bold brow is not for everyone, especially if you want the natural look. The bold brow is all about definition, so you would need an angled brush to apply  powder to your eyebrow  or use a brow pencil, as well as a concealer, and a brow gel. We recommend using Anastasia Beverly Hills brow kit as it has all the essentials to achieve the bold brow.

Eyes:

Renowned designer Donna Karen chose a different route this fall season, and instead of the bold eyebrow went with a different trend, the smokey eye. Smokey eyes are a classic fall makeup look coming back year after year. However, the runways revamped this already sexy look by swiping metallic tones on the eyes. To transition  this extreme makeup to day to day wear, use a more subtle  metallic eye shadow like Gunmetal and Creep in that of the Urban Decay Naked  Palette. The primary technique used for a smokey eye is blending. A favorite and highly recommended blending brush is the #224 MAC brush. Done correctly you will evade the raccoon look from Long Beach Blvd.

To complete the look don't forget the winged liner. Remember ladies, if you can get your liner to come out evenly, it's automatically going to be a good day. The Blacktrack gel liner is one of the go-to products for a winged liner.

Lips:

Dark lip shades were all over the place this season. From Louis Vuitton to Dolce and Gabbana, models oozed sex appeal with a mysterious edge as they rocked either berry stained or dark red lips down the runway. So switch up that bright pink or coral lipstick that you've been wearing for summer with a dark shade. Some of our favorites are Rebel, Diva, and Media from MAC. To prevent your lipstick from bleeding out use a lipliner in a similar shade.

In other words, be bold this upcoming fall with sexy makeup.
