How to find high-paying jobs with no experience — Over the past few days, this has been the most common question that has come up in my DM, email, and comment section of my blogs.

To be honest, many of my friends use the exact same things to get their dream jobs, as creating content helps recruiters learn more about your personality and the level of expertise you have about a particular subject.

Another important thing you need to do to increase your chances of getting hired is to create a dummy project, as it is proof to the recruiter to trust your ability to do the work for their companies.

The good news is that very few put this much effort into getting the job, and if you can put effort and create some dummy, you will already stand out from the crowd.

  • Video editors – Edit some videos of the other people

Research about the company 

In my career as a digital marketer, I got the opportunity to hire many people, and one thing that I can say confidently is that 90 % of the people who apply for the job never researched about the company where they failed and were not able to crack the jobs.

If you don’t want to join this crowd, you need to invest your time in researching the company. Here is a list of the things that you need to do.

  • What are the products or services you offer?
  • How many people work for the company?
  • Who are their top competitor?
  • How are they generating revenue?
  • How can you add value to the company?

These are the basics that you need to research before you decide to apply to any company.

Understand their requirement 

Before clicking on the apply button and submitting your resume to any of the companies, the first thing that you need to do is understand the requirements of the company, which simply means reading the job descriptions carefully, 

  • Do you have the mentioned skills?
  • Do you have the experience of using the tools?
  • Do you have the dummy project as per the job descriptions?

These are the basics you need to check on the job descriptions before applying. You can also apply to companies that are hiring experienced professionals, especially when you have created a dummy project related to the work.

As stated above, getting a job as a fresher or without experience is a real deal, as most of the big companies like to hire experienced professionals as they help them save on costs and get quality work.

But that does not mean you cannot get a job; many startups and mid-sized companies still hire people with no experience or less experience, but most of the time, it depends on the field.

Now, let’s look at the list of easy-to-get, good-paying jobs with no experience.

Junior Web Developer 

According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, the demand for web developers has increased significantly in the past few years and is projected to grow 16 % this year.

This means there is a huge opportunity for people who want to make a career in this industry, especially if they have the skills to design stunning, interactive, mobile-friendly websites that load fast.

However, as a web designer, your work is designing the website and collaborating with senior-level designers to brainstorm new ideas, write the code, solve the troubleshooting of programs, test new software, and make the website interactive.

Sometimes, you also need to take the feedback and reviews from the clients and customers and make changes to the website 

So, If you have the skills to create a website and have previously created some dummy projects, you can get a job as a web developer without experience.

  • Annual Salary: $35,000 – $60,000
  • Education: Bachelor’s in Computer Science or related field

Content writer

Content writing is one of the most demanding and high-paying skills of all time, and as it is a core component of growing any business it results in the demand for content writers has increased over the past few years.

If you are a person who loves writing, there is no better way to start your career options than to become a content writer, as it does not require any higher education degree, and you can start work from the comfort of your home.

As a content writer, your main duty is to write the content to satisfy the intent of the users, generate leads for the business, and bring traffic to the site, but here are the other roles and responsibilities that you need to perform

As you know, how people consume content has changed significantly over the past few years. People prefer to consume content in visual form rather than normal text, which helps them retain more information.

As a junior graphic designer, your work is to collaborate with the senior graphics designer and assist them with their work. Some of this work includes creating logos, images, and thumbnails for YouTube videos.

According to the stats there, more than 89 % of people are hungry to watch video content online, which clearly shows that demand for consuming video content has increased significantly, and demand for video editors has also risen at an unexpected rate.

If you have video editing skills, you charge between $70 and $150 per video on average. But before that, let’s first understand the video editor’s responsibilities.

As a video editor, your responsibility is to edit the footage of the videos, apply visual effects, and add the elements to make the video more attention-grabbing; here are some of the other tasks that you need to perform

  • Help the senior video editor in their work editing 
  • Edit the raw footage based on the script and the storyline

But for the senior level, you may require some high level of education and hard core training but for the junior level, you can easily get the job without any experience.
